Algebraic Proofs (A) WORKSHEET DESCRIPTION
This worksheet is designed to scaffold future work on algebraic proof by introducing the basic concepts of writing expressions for even numbers, odd numbers, consecutive numbers and sums, differences, and squares of these. An extension asks a more challenging question in the difference of the squares of two consecutive odd numbers. More algebraic proof questions can be found in Algebraic Proofs (B) and Algebraic Proofs (C).
