This worksheet brings the skills consolidated in Percents of an Amount D and E to find some more complicated percentages of amounts.
Section A uses the format of the spider diagrams from worksheet D and asks students to find percentages such as 42%, 125%, or 2.5% of some given amounts.
Section B is then available as a great Pair/Share activity where students can choose their own center values. This could be used as a good discussion point – Which sort of values are easier to find percentage from mentally? What would make the percentages difficult to find mentally?
